A continental breakfast is served at the on-site restaurant, and guests can also eat at the sister hotel Ficus, a short walk uphill. The Ficus restaurant offers a buffet breakfast with eggs, gallo pinto, pancakes, fruit, and plantains, plus a happy hour from 5-6 pm with 2-for-1 drinks. Dinner at the Ficus also provides a balcony view of the Nicoya Peninsula, and the staff at Jaguarundi Lodge can recommend local restaurants like Tramonti and La Gallera.

Activities

Jaguarundi Lodge Monteverde has a private nature trail on the property that leads through a stream and up to a greenhouse with a view of the Pacific coast.
